(Video) Buffalo's BOMU-W24A/BL GyroMouse

Buffalo Japan unveils the BOMU-W24A/BL, a nifty gyromouse that "allows the cursor to move with the flick (or twist) of your wrist." One negative, this device is priced at $168. For those who haven't already seen, video of someone using a gyromouse to play Quake 3 after the jump.
Aside from sporting the usual assortment of mouse buttons and a scroll wheel, this critter boasts an internal gyro sensor...In case all that twirling gets a bit tiresome, it also packs a standard optical sensor for "normal use," and offers six programmable buttons all around the enclosure

It costs so much cause they have to make back all the money they spend on development. 24 lcd monitors to play quake on don't come cheap.

This is not new, I got the EXACT same model from Gyration, and I do mean exact (and I paid it 120 Canadian $). I was surprised when I saw it, maybe Gyration was bought by Buffalo. I have to look it up. As fun as it is, it haven't replace my normal mouse, but I still use it often.

Gyration also has a cheaper model, for like $70, I think? just researched it the otherday, you can get them online. im not quite sure what the difference is between the two..
