(Video) Hack the Toaster Part 2

In this episode, they "take some toaster parts and install them into an old monitor". Let's just say it works. Video after the jump.

These guys are idiots. So, I rpesent in bulleted form what they did wrong: - Tape adhesive melts! Use a high-tempature glue or epoxy! -Plastic monitor cases melt! You should of insulated with foam, or another high-tempature insulator. Tin foil is not an insulator. -Plexiglass doors melt! Use glass. -Handle had peice of metal going into center of "toaster" - means handle will become hot with use! -Need more than one heating elemtn. That element is designed to cook one slice of bread. Not a whole cubic foot! Maybe add two or three.

oke this bob ross imitation is the smart DIYS. nextime around he should make a Sharma Grill from a TFT monitor ;) but first learn some basic ellectonics and Safty things ;)

These guys are not hacking. They have a very specific term for this n***er-rigging... Now, don't go calling me a racist or nothing. That term is a general description for an ignorant idiot... Anyone of any race can be an ignorant idiot. (boondocks rules!)

come on guys there just having fun lightin up.......its not n***er-rigging its nigga-rigging and the term is used for quick fixs like a hanger for an antenna or any thing that get the job done...non-ignorant ppl do it you might have done it yourself just as long as it gets the job done at the time you want it....they did cook bacon.

Hey, I don't think that this is stupid... it seems like a fun thing that you could do if you are bored or something. The only thing that I think could make this a little better was if they used a flat screen as the door. Might have been a little nuisanse (sp), but it would have looked a s***load better.
