Cyberdyne announced that they will start mass producing the HAL-5 , a Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) for "walking assistance and rehabilitation, nursing, factory work and disaster relief." This robot suit allows anyone who wears it, the potential to lift up to 10-times the weight they normally could. Production will be limited to just 20-units next year and 400-500 units in 2008. Pretty Cool.
I can't say I'm incredibly impressed, but this definitely is a pioneer product into the future.
