Created by Jim Chalmers, this one-of-a-kind "Hoverbike" uses a large fan to lift the bike and propel it forward. It's capable of reaching speeds of up to 50mph. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced. Video after the jump.
That would be awesome to ride, works on both land and water I assume

Well, hopefully prototype is the key word. How's it do on curbs. It won't work on water long. The water will take her if she flounders for a moment due to the small size of the cushion.

Why not add a control system to control the direction fo the hoverbike and make the steering much easier for the pilot?

Hello. As most of you know I am the President of RTS, yeah, not so big today, but in about.......7 years or so It should be huge. I am just 11, actually, and I am already in the business by building my own custom hover things. If someone could just throw in a leafblower...
Oh yeah, And when I start to sell my hoverbikes, I will be pricing them at about 6, 000 dollars or so. I mean they have to be a lot of money or they'd be outrageously cheap. So....around $6000.
