This is amazing! I mean, this is what science is all about!! We go on for years and years and years, until science evolves, and we learn something new, about evolution, the earth, food, etc... Remember a little while back when they said that pluto was no longer a planet...whats all the fuss?? Al the info is there!! THAT"S SCIENCE PEOPLE!! SO WHAT if as Neal Adams puts it that 100 years or so of scientific fact is out the window, and everything has to be rewitten.....that is why we have science, and that is why these things happen. This just makes so much sense Now watch, if this does get out in the masses, our childrens science books probably still won't be undated for another 10-15 years.....as usual.

verry interresting theory - the only problems I have with it that even if his theory is right, we don't need to throw away the last 100 years of science! Just because our planet is growing it doesn't mean the whole universe is not the way we think it is. The other thing is that he's only talking about the shapes of the continents and isn't losing one single word about WHY the earth could be growing. We know that all continents were one long time ago, so we know why they fit in each other, that's no new theory. Many geogolists belive, that the ocean floor is so young because it's constantly being torn open and being rebuilt by magma from underneath the plates. A really amazing thing would be if he could proof the growth somehow.

That theory has one big fault ant that is the mountain ranges like the Himalayas, those mountain ranges was created by tectonic plates was colliding and on many of these mountain ranges you can find fossil shells of ancient sea creatures on high altitudes.

Well i think this is tru that the world may be shrinking and expanding seems a little far fetched for the ones that cant dream or even comprehend "like every one i know :(. i'm a pisces" but i think it might be the fact that the world is like a living person "a person takes there close off when hot" "the world expands" "a person puts clothes on when cold" "the world shrinks" catch my drift i think this is tottaly resonable. and they couldent mesure the movment of the plates cause it would use to many resorces and years to get a small change the only way they could do this would be to monitor where the volcanos and the earthquakes are happening but still this would not work in there minds or maby there is somthing i dont know "the clip said some poeple dont think that the plates are shrinking cause there is no were for them to go to but and the only explination is they have to" But i think and it is obviouse to me but they go UP like if they test the size of any mountain now from when it was first recored you will most likley find that they are higher think about it that more people are dieing climbing mount everest than ever before and with more sofisticarted technology so it comes to say that they are getting higher due to the world shrinking and the plates moving in or on top of each other Is this not so hard to work out "put more people with add in the science inderstry we'll work it out"

I hope someone sees this since it is an older post but.... where did all the water to fill those vast oceans come from if this scenario were the real one??
