I am interested in the whole umpc thing, but they need some extra processing power- a 500mhz wouldn't cut it for what I need a portable pc for- for now I will stick to a laptop as even my 4 year old toshiba still tops the performance on the top of the line umpc's right now

Im quite dissapointed in this device, it was originally touted as a tablet pc yet from this video and from dynamism it has no touch screen display, instead when in tablet mode seemingly offering not much more then the capacity to scroll the page. On the whole good for students and professionals on the go, this systems specs are going to do everything MOST people would expect from a umpc which is: Media playing, internet browsing, document editing, information storage and creation systems. People who laugh at the specs must be expecting their UMPCs to do CS editing, run Vista and play WOW all at once... For the price as well certainly a healthy step in the right direction to practical umpcs, and from other reports this device actually has a long-term usable and fast paced keyboard unlike the Vaio equivalent. In future though touch screen capacity and a more "wide screen" model approach would be a welcome improvements.
