Winding Road Magazine demonstrates the Lexus LS460L's self-parking function. This luxury sedan sports a 380hp, 4.6L V8 engine that boosts it from 0-60 in just 5.4 seconds. Video after the jump.
I could have parallel parked the car three times manually by the time this automated system did it once. I can imagine the cars honking at you while you sit there programming the touch screen.

I agree, the option isn't worth the time/money as the system is right now. But I do believe the concept has good potential. And the progress I see here tells me it wont be long before the system is good enough for average consumer use.

Lol, it would suck though if you put the wrong target on the touchscreen and the car crashes you into the parked car next to you :P
