Unfortunately, we can't confirm the authenticity of this video, but it looks as if someone has created a motion sensor for the PSP -- running Mercury (*updated). Watch after the jump.

That's not a homebrew application - That's Archer Maclean's Mercury.

Edgar,
You mean Logitech has already done that, surely? You know, the company that developed this thing years before Nintendo copied it and all the Mario fanboys started claiming it was a brand new revelation that no-one had ever seen before - except everyone who isn't a Nintendo fanboy....

thats not a homebrew game thats a real game for psp which I forgot the name. I played it on my friends once. it seems like they mapped the analog to the motion since you use the analog to tilt the stage around the blobs

Its not the point that Nintendo already did it.. congrats to them a multimillion dollar company who can implement some neet lil hardware on their own device..
This is Homebrew.. someone with obviously a good amount of knowledge not only built the board for the USB port on the PSP but programmed it and the application the PSP is running.. I'm sure they dont have the same budget nor the endorsement of Sony to make it..

the PSP was originally supposed to have motion sensor built in, hence Mercury was designed upon that, however sony removed it, but i wouldn't be surprised if archer maclean left the code in the game if someone was clever enough to find it, however this is just mapped to the nub most likely

I have found a way to get any psp game or movie for free. all you have to do is buy a memory card, pay a one off payment to a web site and then download anything psp straight to your psp. Theres no download restrictions and its 100% legal. i have saved hundreds on the latest games. i was so happy that i have to spread the word.

eanotown is the favourite website with the kids round here. They don’t put stuff from the actual comics up there, but this week’s cover is so good I put it up here
