(Video) Wiimote On Windows

C.K. of GlovePie fame -- "a programmable input emulator that allows you to utilize speech as a joystick" -- has created the first functional Wiimote driver for Windows-based systems. Download here. Video demonstration after the jump.
With an expected 4 million consoles in homes by next year and Bluetooth adapters retailing under 10 bucks, we might see one clever PC attempt to embrace a full solution in the box -- a usb Bluetooth adapter and game kit under $50 can happen easily. A Wiimote supported game specifically for the PC is not only plausible, it would be brilliant. The buzz alone would sell the game

W O A H! My dream of 3d editing with a wii-mote is another step closer!

I would get just the wiimote for this. Once thge time-lapse is reduced to nil, I would play fps games like no other.

Only if we can somehow use the IR Sensorbar, and create a driver for it so we can use it as a cursor. But the sensore itself isnt that sensitive, given that it only supports about 1 megapixel. Othing like those Razer type mouse.
