Vodafone Symponia Recreates Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture with Cell Phones, Text Alerts

You won't find another version of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture like this one. Put simply, it "features 1000 cellphones syncing 53 different ringtone alerts from 2000 sent messages." Videos after the break.

Is there an alternative way to send the text messages? because it look pretty expensive.
