Volkswagen L1 Concept Gets 230MPG

Though just a concept for now, the Volkswagen L1 will reportedly go into production in 2010. This hybrid reportedly needs just 0.26-gallons (1L) of petrol to travel 62-miles (100km), and gets 230MPG. Unfortunately, its max speed is 75mph. Video after the break.
