VoodooPC ENVY U909 SLI Notebook

VoodooPC's latest notebook is aimed at extreme gamers, with high-end specs that include dual nVidia GeForce Go 7800 GTX graphics processing units (GPUs) in SLI configuartion and an AMD Turion 64 processor. The bright 19-inch display is ideal for watching your favorite movies or playing games. Other features include a u:909 performance motherboard, 4-in-1 memory card reader, 8x dual-layer DVD burner, and an 8-channel audio system with subwoofer. What exactly is the purpose of a "gaming laptop" its pointless... all it will do is preform slightly less than a gaming pc, its not even that portable... nearly 16 lbs and a 19" widescreen isnt exactly portable

Well i have a widescreen laptop and its just fine to take about. and what if you want to use it on the train or traveling eh?

Most gaming labtops are give-n-take, but 19 pounds is just rediculous...give me ma single ati x700 and let me be.

It's still easier to take around than a pc. Especially for college students who live in dorms or apartments.

I think - personally - this could be the next LAN rig of all time. Or like one. I dunno about you - but a pair of head phones - one power cord and that baby - I could be set up in less than 5 minutes - while - some of the non-lappie compliant users will be setting up for the next 20 minutes while I'm not only first on the map in BF2 - but taking all your flags! ;) Not too mention - for practical purposes - I run a business and I have to refer to 3D programs for customers on a design level - this rig (and the lappie I currently have) make it VERY nice to easily show them without having tell them, "Please hold, yes - the doughnuts are free..." Anyways - that's my $50 worth :)
