Wall-O-Monitors

Have a spare wall? "Crazy Jon" from QJ.net did and decided to mount twelve LCD monitors for the ultimate gaming/productivity setup. View all pics after the jump.
From the article: "We've loaded up live traffic and security feeds, a web browser, World of Warcraft, and of course, Fish tank screensaver. Looks nice! 3000 watts of power seems to be powering the wall just fine."

He used only one computer!!! Needed 6 Nvidia card if I recall correctly

What a waste of time and money. Plus there are lines in the screens. Why not just get a projector?

No where is safe from World of Warcraft... The Matrix display was beautiful, i would never do this just because of the monetary point, i'd get a projector, but a wall of monitors just has that cool feeling that a projector or a big screen can't replicate. Opinions matter, people have them, and are going to share them, you grow the f*** up, and get a life.

A projector won't give you same picture that all of those screen will, and even if it did, it wouldn't run as smooth. What I always want to know, is why not link 12 projectors, connect them via a nice computer set up, and not have to deal with two inches of useless black lines? Then again, finding a place to mount 12 high quality projectors might be a problem in and of itself.

All opinions aside, this would be cool at parties and WHY NOT!!! (that is of cores, you have the time and money) Should we all become mindless lemmings void of creative expression..."just get a projector"
