Cause its not a ps3 controller. its a demonstration of the capabilities (or apparent lack there of) of the ps3 controller using a third party controller released some time in the 90s for the ps1 that not only does tilt sensing, but vibration too. the fact that sony, the oh-so-great company that they are can't figure out how to do tilt motion and vibration in a wireless package is pathetic, and i hope there is a vibration capable controller released, cause personally thats a much more rewarding feature then having to make random gestures waving my arms in the air to get my character to move across the screen. I have a Logitech wingman with the tilt, and its an amazingly awesome controller, but the tilt sensor is the most useless thing ever. it has remained turned off since the day after i got it.

I mean, the reason that the vibration was left out couldn't possibly be that the tilt sensing is far more sensitive and precise. That makes too much sense.

dude he sucks at demonstrating if he cant even demonstrate the real thing, and hes got chin rolls. like 5 of them.On topic now. PS3 is not worth buying. No matter what the rest of you believe, graphics do not make the game good. The tilt function is a rip of the nintendo Revolution (no longer the Wii). They are going to fall far, far behind on the consol market by next year, guarentee it. Im buying a Revolution :>

no
the ps3 controller does not rip off revolution. Revolution and ps3 both took the idea from Pelican.

The "pelican from 1999" motion sensor controller? What's he talking about? That's impossible!!! Nintendo invented motion sensor controllers in April 2006.
Well, according to the fat Italian plumber fanboys they did....

I really see no point in investing 600+$ into a system that relies on graphics, I'll stick with a computer thankyou.

ok... you losers sitting here complaining that its not a ps3 controller need to STOP and THINK for a second, then watch the video.... after that you should probably (stressing probably) be able to figure out that who ever wrote the headline mislead you.

Hey to the one saying graphics means nothing,
you're absolutely true man so thats why im getting a wii and a ps3... Xbox and xbox360 games (apart oblivion for now) sucks in the FUN zone. 360 as graphics but lame games, wii i hope are going to be less childish and ps3 i agree is alot too much overhyped and won't deliver what they promess but will still have more enjoyable games. Just as the Xbox,ps2,gc era is.
And btw anybody know that's the court action
between Immersion and Sony that explain the lack of vibration in the controller.

PS3 just got BURNED!!!
I like how he calls it revolutionary at first, then shows how freaking old the technology is. Pelican is such a good company though (or used to be around that time).
PS3 controller won't have rumble? That is incredibly weak.

Dear "no". Do you know what sarcasm is? I know PS3 did not steal it from Nintendo. My point is that most Nintendo fans claim they did and act as Nintendo invented the thing three months ago.
PS Sony can do motion and vibration: they've invented and mastered thousands of technologies much more complex than that. They just don't want to pay up $90m to get the latter of the features. People do your homework.

ok if you look carefully at HOW BAD this technology was...espically at the end...he had to turn and hold the controller WAYYY be4 he actually moved...techinally, this technology they are USING in the PS3 controller is revolutionary and new, im not listening to some wacked out moron tell me what is what when he probably has never been layed. PS3 will rule...just cause u cant afford 600$, doesnt mean u gatta bitch. btw...the first bluray player is retailed at 1000+...and the PS3 has one and its only 600...that right there is a fuckin STEAL
