When the Batmobile meets a Corvette, you get something that looks like Callaway’s Corvette C7 GT3-R. This stealthy vehicle sports a carbon fiber widebody, a huge air diffuser, complete with burnt gas vents in the side sills, and is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 Chevrolet engine generating 600-horsepower, mated to an X-Trac six-speed sequential transmission. “This competition Corvette calls for the overused fighter jet comparison to make another quick appearance, even though the Callaway Competition design also resembles a very low and flat Great White with its gaping mouth. Just don’t throw an oxygen tank in there and shoot it. The unveil took place at the ADAC GT Masters Season Finale at Hockenheimring, but most of the technical details remain a secret,” reports Auto Evolution.
