Swimmable Ball Pit Washington DC

A unique ocean has surfaced in Washington DC at the National Building Museum. Created by Brooklyn-based Snarkitecture, “BEACH” is basically a 10,000-square-foot interactive installation made up of a million recyclable translucent plastic balls. Visitors to the museum are welcome to swim in the interactive exhibit or just lounge on the sidelines. It features a 50-foot-wide shoreline that sports a mirrored wall at one end to give the ocean greater visual depth. Click here to view the first image in this week’s geek life gallery.
