White iPhone 3G S Overheats, Case Changes Colors

Apple's iPhone 3G S may be praised by most, but it's still not perfect, as this owner shows. Basically, the case discoloration above "was caused by overheating during a period of using the GPS and 3G of the phone." Continue reading for one more picture.

Either way, it looks pretty crummy now, doesn't it? What about the rest of you with new, white iPhones? Anything to report?

Even better, it's now the translated version. Anyways, it's a shame Apple didn't use heat-resistant materials for the case, as GPS and 3G usage alone shouldn't be enough to discolor it.

I think the white cases are ugly as hell on the iphone anyway. should have stuck with black and chrome. Different colors are what cases are for.
