Makerball DIY Pinball

Why spend money on a classic pinball machine, aside from nostalgic / collector purposes, when you could build your own with “Makerball”? Priced at $246, this wood and metal pinball table arrives flat-packed, similar to many things you’d find at IKEA. Unlike IKEA furniture, however, this table can be setup in 30-60 minutes. Several electronic components, such as a micro-controller, wiring, and conductive copper foil, are included to help you create obstacles. Players can keep score via the Make & Play app on a smartphone. Click here for the first image in this week’s things that look like other things gallery.
