World's First Jet-Powered Merry-Go-Round
Though not very practical or safe, this jet-powered merry-go-round is definitely the world's first. Popular Mechanics' Seth Porges "volunteered his life and limb to be the first human ever to take a jet-powered ride on this steam punk-inspired machine." Video after the break.
