World's Shortest Escalator
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the escalator you see above, located at the Kawasaki More's department store in Japan, is the world's shortest, measuring just 834mm tall. Video after the break.
It was in 1989 and will still retain the record if someone has not built a small and useless automatic staircase in the two decades.[via Newlaunches]
