World's First Carbon Fiber MacBook

This modder claims to have created to "world's first carbon fiber MacBook" using "Carbon Graphix, an easily attainable $20 vinyl sticker that looks like real carbon fiber." Couple more pics after the jump.
The sticker can be easily applied and removed from your MacBook to give it that MacBook Pro look. This definitely beats the alternative, and looks more polished too

you can get sheets from ebay, car mod shops, and some sign shops. Carbon fiber vinyl. Avery sells them under its label too. they come in different thicknesses (eg 2.5,3.5 mil) which will effect durability. NOTE this really is just a thin vinyl and is about as strong as real carbon fiber as Pamela Andersons tits are real.

Im sorry but NO. Slapping a carbon fiber thing over something doesnt make it carbon fiber. Thats like me throwing a big one of those over the hood of my car and say "check this out, thats a carbon fiber hood yo!". IF it were true carbon fiber that thing would be light as a beast, but as techeblog says, its just like a decal. Ok...better example...its like me gettign a plain White Tee, and putting a Harvard logo on it...doesnt mean its authentic or anything...idk...kind of pointless if you ask me
