Wrist-Mounted Camera

If a cameraphone just isn't good enough, check out this "waterproof (up to 30m) wrist-mounted GoPro Digital Hero Camera". It's capable of shooting 648 x 480 digital stills / 320x240 video and has 32MB of internal memory. Available now for $79.95 here.
You lock it down as flat as possible against your wrist when you're not using it, and when you want to take a picture, just swivel it up in a perpendicular position and you're ready to shoot

Um..... ? Other then the fact they should offer a discount on account of the number of times your firends will make fun of you... How is this cool ? IT SHOOTS 640x480 stills! The camera on my phone does that.

I agree, the camera is quite laughable... But when you look at it from the POV of a surfer who has waited years for something so accesable and straighforward to come onto the market... it's a gem. You can tell this was designed by someone who spends hours in the water wishing they could easily take pictures of what goes on out there.
