Wrist PC of the Future

Eurotech gives us a taste of what's to come - in portable computing - with their WWPC ("wrist-worn PC") concept. This nifty 7-ounce device boasts a 2.8-inch touchscreen LCD display, SD card slot, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, WiFi, USB and support for Linux or Windows CE operating systems. No word yet on pricing or availability.
"Eurotech describes the WWPC as a "user-centric, ubiquitous computing" concept, suggesting that the device is not yet available in product form. "

This is useful in the military. I have enough gear to carry anyways, this would eliminate my bulky toughbook that I use for Comm. I like it, they just need to make it a little smaller and with a hard case like the toughbook and the DoD would buy a bunch of these.

For IBASDEN First of all Apple does not release sources for OSX .. like Linux does and if you want to tweak something you will not be able to do it. The same thing happens to windoze too. And you said why Linux ? remeber that BOTH OSX and Linux have roots in *nix and BSD. And before you or some one else starts a flame war i OWN OSX Tiger and Windows XP and use debian linux on my machines :). The gadget looks interesting .. a little too big but looks useful :)
