The problem with most stun guns is that they can't shoot very far or aren't powerful enough, but that's not the case with the X12. This monstrosity "fires a jolt through the air (wirelessly) that can cut through clothing to paralyze a perpetrator within an effective range of 88 feet."
Apparently this paralysis occurs without pain, meaning that freeze tag just got a whole lot more fun, though ever so slightly less fair.[via Gizmodo]
