XBox 360 Case Mods

So you've seen all the "Crazy PC Case Mods", now check out these impressive XBox 360 mods. We'll start off with the "Crystal Clear XBox 360", this modder stuffed all the 360's internals into a clear case, complete with fans and LEDs. View all after the jump.
But, how does it play? “I personally have noticed a huge difference in graphics frame rate and overall performance,” writes the responsible modder in Xbox Forums, “or maybe its just that my 360 can now breath after this mod and maybe my 360 can actually run as the specs on the side of the box!”

the 5th one down i dont think is a mod it just has an apple sticker on it that came with the ipods.

The first one could have been cool if they didnt glue the damn power button from the 360 on the front of it. And whats up with the apple one. They just put an ipod sticker on it. thats not a mod

I have a xbox 360 that is having some major heat issues which got me to thinking.....The xbox 360 is still a computer....So why not make it look like one.I have looked in to this and the motherboard is roughly the same size as an ATX board so assuming i positioned the risers accordingly added some more wireing to make make some space throw on a few fans to keep the temp down all the parts should fit into a standard tower case.The upside of this being that a properly ventalted towercase can sometimes double proformance and in my case would take care of the crashing that i am getting about every 15 min of gameplay due to overheating. What i am wondering is there anyone out there that has tryed this? if so e-mail me let me know how it went and any serious problems that occured I would love some feedback on this to see if it is possible and if it would "beef" up the power of the xbox 360 so to speak.
