Why just chop up or burn fallen tree trunks, when you could turn them into something useful for all to enjoy. This “Book Forest” is located in Prenzlauer Berg, directly in front of a dessert cafe. It’s from fallen trees cut at varying heights and bolted together to create a faux tree cluster of sorts. Visitors can open the plastic flaps to browse the books, or to add their own. Inhabitat visited this book exchange and found that the titles ranged from popular novels to history books, DIYs, and children’s books.
