You could either spend $175,000 on a new NSX, GT3, etc., or The Official Ferrari Opus Diamante Edition. Published by UK-based Kraken Opus, The Official Ferrari Opus was released in 2011, and features 852 twenty-square-inch pages, weighing in at a hefty 80 pounds. Buyers could purchase several versions, starting with the base $4,100 Classic edition all the way up to the Diamante edition (above), which featured red leather binding, a diamond-encrusted Prancing Horse emblem, carbon-fiber clamshell case, and hand-signed pages by the Scuderia’s drivers as well as Fernando Alonso. “Where the penultimate, $37,500 Enzo edition yielded 400 copies, the Diamante edition was limited to just one per country. That’d make for fewer than 200 examples, but we doubt the publisher actually sold one in each country. Consigned for RM Sotheby’s auction in New York next month, it’s valued between $125,000 and $175,000, and is offered without reserve,” reports Car Scoops.
