When you film 80 extras lined up along a dirt road in an industrial area in France at 1000-frames-per-second, something magical happens: an entire 3.5-minute music video made from just 5-seconds of footage. Put simply, a car drove by at 31mph and filmed them engaging in a host of activities. French filmmaker Guillaume Panariello describes it as “the shortest shooting ever” and what unfolded as a “dreamlike mural.” Sure, there were a few digital effects added later, but the ensuing “Unconditional Rebel” music video by French musician Siska is a conversation piece nonetheless.
