Believe it or not, this isn’t an old bank from The Dark Knight, but rather a drugstore called Walgreens. It’s housed in the old Noel State Bank building, a beautiful 1919 construction and registered Chicago Landmark. Huffington Post says that “when Walgreens purchased the 30,000-square-foot, three-story building, it painstakingly restored the the coffered plaster ceiling which includes a jazz-age stained glass design.” Click here to view the first image in this week’s geek life gallery.
