Marvel’s Wolverine was first announced for the PS5 last year, and since then, we’ve only been left with a reveal trailer. TeaserPlay wanted to give fans something more to look at, so they created an Unreal Engine 5 showcase previewing what gameplay could look like. It starts of at the Princess Bar on the island of Madripoor, which can be seen in Episode 3 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Initially, it was slated for a 2023 release, but Insomniac Games have not confirmed at date yet, so we may be looking at early-mid 2024. As for the setting, Marvel’s Wolverine may take place in a broader universe that encompasses the Insomniac Spider-Man games. For those wondering, this game will be a PS5 exclusive, so it won’t be coming to the PS4 or any other next-generation consoles. Now we just need to get our hands on a pair of Tiger & Rose true wireless earbuds to use when playing this game.
