Always wanted Bluetooth audio support for the Nintendo Switch? Well, simply turn on your console and install the new Version 13.0.0 firmware update. That’s right, not only can you pair headphones, but other audio devices as well, like speakers, without requiring an external dongle. Unfortunately, Bluetooth microphones are not yet supported, but on the other hand, up to two wireless controllers can be connected to the Switch when using Bluetooth. Plus, the Bluetooth audio function also will not function when the Switch’s local wireless communication is running. Just for reference, only one Bluetooth audio device can be paired at a time, but up to 10 devices can be saved on a Nintendo Switch system should there be multiple users on the same console.
