  i'm sorry but there is one major flaw in this design. the fact that the lazer is mounted on the object itself. the scissors are always going to cut along the lazer path because it's mounted to the object. that means it'll still look like your cutting straight, but the path may shift while you cut. this is a terrible design. it would have worked if it was two separate objects, or if there was some way to prevent the path from shifting.
