2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S

Sleek and stylish, the 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S now features the wider body adopted from the previous generation 911 Carrera 4 and GTS models. Its flat-six 3.0L twin-turbocharged engine generates 443 horsepower, with power being delivered by a new 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. All this power means it’s capable of hitting 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package, and tops out at a blistering 191 mph. Complementing the increase in engine performance, the PASM Sport Suspension boasts stiffer springs and sway bars as well as a 0.39 inch (10 mm) lower ride height. On the outside, significantly wider wheel housings arch over large 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels while flush integration of the electric door handles extend outward when needed to keep a smooth side contour. When you step inside, you’ll find two thin, frameless, free-form displays that provide the driver with information. The new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a larger 10.9″ touchscreen display (up from 7.0 inches) and comprehensive connectivity can be operated quickly and intuitively thanks to the new architecture. Located beneath the screen, a compact panel with five toggle-like switches provides direct access to the most important vehicle functions.

“Just to recap briefly, the the 992 is the eighth generation of Porsche’s iconic, rear-engine sports car. Manual-equipped and base models will come later, so right now there is just a choice of the $114,250 Carrera S or $121,650 4S, with a new, eight-speed, dual-clutch gearbox,” according to CNET.
