Auto enthusiasts have probably seen at least one Ariel Atom before, and their latest model is definitely no slouch. Powered by a Honda Civic Type R 2.0L turbocharged engine making 321 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, this kart-like sports car can hit 60 mph in a blistering fast 2.8-seconds. Unlike its predecessors, this model sports a lightweight hand-built structure with a larger diameter main / diagonal tubes and new aluminum-alloy bulkheads, resulting in a torsional rigidity increase of 15%.
The 2021 model gets rid of the twin-seat configuration in favor of a pair of lightweight individually adjustable single seats. A full-color TFT screen, mounted behind the 12-inch (305 mm) race suede-covered steering wheel, shows all of the technical information a driver would need. Suspension wise, it comes equipped with a double unequal length wishbones configuration sporting inboard, pushrod operated dampers sourced from open-wheel race cars as well as Ohlins TTX three-way adjustable shocks.
- Speed & Range: The Gokart PRO reaches 23 mph and has a 15.5-mile range on one charge.
- Powerful Performance: Features a rear-wheel drive with 4,800W power and 96N torque for quick acceleration.
- Safety First: Built with a high-strength steel frame, supports up to 220 lbs, and includes triple anti-collision protection.
