Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set for release on October 5th, but one lucky gamer was invited to Ubisoft headquarters and able to record 20-minutes of gameplay footage. We get a preview of all the outfits, Basim camel riding, non-spoiler cutscenes, combat, viewpoint synchronization, desynchronization and more.
This action-adventure stealth game, set in the city of Baghdad, is intended to be reminiscent of older Assassin’s Creed titles, which means being more linear and story-focused. Parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth remain core elements of the gameplay, while assassination missions feature a “Black Box” design where players have to explore the environment to find different ways to reach and eliminate their targets.
