The Nautilus submarine was originally featured in the Jules Verne novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. This homeowner decided to contact the team at Designs Northwest Architects to help make his dream home a reality. Located in Seattle, Washington, the “exterior features plenty of large windows allowing for incredible views of the water, and allowing outsiders a view of the amazing interior that features a steel stairway, exposed wood beam ceilings, plenty of natural wood construction, and even round glass windows to continue the nautical theme.” Click here for more pictures.
