The ASUS ZenBook S13 (UX392) is a subnotebook that combines beauty and power into one ultraportable device. Featuring a 13.9-inch FHD frameless four-sided NanoEdge display with the world’s slimmest bezels as well as a 97% screen-to-body ratio, the largest of the industry, NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete graphics, an 8th Gen Intel i7 quad-core processor, 1TB of PCIe x4 SSD storage, and a 50Wh battery that provides up to 15 hours of battery life. Intel’s 8th Generation of mobile processors have been used in the ZenBook series for over a year, and the S13 takes an 8th generation Core i7 CPU and pairs it with up to 16GB of RAM, making it perfect for complex workloads. Processing performance is also improved with upgraded graphics capabilities made possible by the NVIDIA GeForce MX150. To ensure no space was wasted, the metal chassis is CNC-milled from a solid block of aluminum, enabling the lid to be carved out without creating any unnecessary voids.

“While the Zenbook S13 might seem like just another ultraportable on the surface, its dedicated graphics and glorious thin bezel screen help it stand out. ASUS is known for experimenting with new designs in its laptops, like with last year’s ZenBook Pro, which tucked a screen inside its trackpad. It’s not always clear if those design risks will pay off, but in this case, it feels like ASUS is genuinely pushing the industry forward a bit,” said Engadget.
