Custom Built E-Ink PDA
Forget smartphones and other personal organizers, Ashtf built his own E-ink PDA, powered by an ultra efficient ESP32-S3 processor, consisting of two low-power Xtensa LX7 32-bit microprocessors running at 240 MHz, and support for WiFi 4 as well as Bluetooth 4.2 LE.

Why E-ink? Not only is it low-power, but also has extreme contrast screen that can be viewed clearly both indoors and outdoors without a backlight. There is just one major caveat, a low refresh rate, but Ashftf added a small OLED screen to display characters as he typed, and after tapping the space bar, they are sent to the larger E-ink screen. On the software side of things, this PDA is just running a basic operating system that includes a home screen/app launcher, a simple text editing program, and a file management utility.
