Unity Enemies Tech Demo Game Engine
Finally, after teasing us with the Unity Enemies tech demo months ago, it’s now finally available for download. This isn’t a game, but rather something designed to showcase the power and capabilities of the Unity platform for creating high-end, visually compelling content using their real-time 3D (RT3D) technology.

This builds upon Unity’s The Heretic short film and adds a better 4D pipeline, a skin attachment system on the GPU to enable high-density meshes, more realistic eyes with caustics on the iris, a revamped skin shader, and tension technology for blood flow simulation as well as wrinkle maps, thus eliminating the need for a facial rig for the finer details. Download it here now.

All High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) features have been improved and some new systems were introduced, including Adaptive Probe volumes and Screen Space Global Illumination (SSGI). Real-time ray traced reflections, ray traced ambient occlusion, and native support for NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) allow the demo to run at 4K with image quality comparable to native resolution,” said Unity.
