Bearfire, opening in 2009, will be the world’s first year-round manmade ski resort — located in Texas. It features a 250-foot mountain, 650,000 square feet of skiing area, and even a village. That’s not all, Bearfire will use Snowflex, “a polymer composite consisting of a monofilament fibre and impregnated carrier layer”, rather than real snow. Video after the break.
