Ferrari Art.Engine Speaker

David Weiner Ventures and Ferrari have teamed up to produce a limited edition (1000) speaker. It features integrated Wi-Fi, has a frequency range of 40Hz, stands 47-inches tall, and boasts line-out to connect other devices (media players, etc.). Unfortunately, style comes at a price, $20,000 to be exact.

Massaging Speakers

Created by Jacob Mathew, this weird stiletto-shaped speaker is part of his new “Soundsations” collection, which aims to “provide the music massage experience.” Here’s what Mark Wilson has to say:

I generally prefer my massage with actual massage and my wine with actual wine, along with my hearing with functional hearing. But speakers in my stilettos? Bring it

Rubik’s Cube Speaker

This Rubik’s Cube Speaker connects to virtually any audio source and boasts LEDs that synchronize to your music. It’s basically a “250-watt speaker and lamp rolled into one.”

It doesn’t look to be functional, so you’ll have the frustration of having a puzzle sitting in your living room that can never be solved. I guess you could rearrange the colored bulbs in it to solve it, but that seems as unsatisfying as just moving the stickers around on a real cube

Plug & Play – Wireless Speaker System

Plug & Play is basically a wireless speaker system that ” makes all ones music available, regardless if it is stored on cell phones, PCs or MP3 players.”

Audio files are transmitted from ones device to PLAY by small PLUG elements. The plugs dock into the side of the speaker for charging, and in the speaker has a transparent LCD-display in the glass, providing information about song title, equalizer, etc.

SoundArt Canvas Speakers

If you want to combine art and technology into one device, SoundArt has the answer in its stylish canvas speakers. Featuring one or two canvas speakers, a subwoofer, and your choice of canvas print. One potential drawback, it costs $3700.

…just hang on your wall, plug in your music source and enjoy the space around you. From music to movies the audio options are endless. Almost any audio source can be played through it – your Hi-Fi, iPod, DVD, CD or use the output on your AV system.
