The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25, which first entered service in 1970 (prototypes were flown in 1964), features giant turbojet engines and vacuum-tube electronics. This aircraft is capable of reaching Mach 3.2, but results in the total destruction of its engines. Other interesting bits include: a maximum acceleration rating of 2.2 g with full tanks, 186 mile combat radius, and has a 744 mile range on internal fuel. Video after the break.
