Last week, BMW unveiled a set of futuristic cars, the electric i3 (top) and i8 hybrid (bottom). The former boasts a 1.3L “electric motor over the rear axle, which generates output of 170 hp and impressive torque of 184 lb-ft from a standstill.” While the latter uses the same i3 electric motor, paired with “a 220 hp turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine developing up to 221 lb-ft of torque.” Click here for more pictures — first 12 are of the BMW i3.
