To be more specific, it was “Discovery Channel’s ‘Cells’ CD-ROM for sale at $2,904,980,000.” Yes, he actually received an order/shipping confirmation email with an additional $3.99 charge.
The seller behind the CD has a good rating, and it is obvious that this was a typo. What I don’t understand is why a new seller jumped in to sell the CD at a comparably inexpensive $250,000.
