HYMER VisionVenture Expedition Camper Van
Forget large RVs, the HYMER VisionVenture is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based vehicle that takes camper vans to the next level. Think of it as a solar-powered, two-level apartment on wheels. There’s a pop-up roof / sleeping area, multi-functional furniture, a full bathroom with a shower as well as a rotating vanity sink, and a kitchenette. The sleek exterior is coated in BASF’s Climacool automotive paint that lowers surface temperature by up to 20 degrees and interior temperatures by up to 4 degrees. There’s also an LED light bar, roof-mounted solar panels, and of course all-terrain tires running a 4×4 system that allows you to go off-road with ease.

Back inside, you’ll find a dedicated workstation, or to be more specific, a laptop desk that folds down in front of the swiveled passenger seat, complete with pin board, LED lamp and electrical outlets. The stairs that lead up to the pop-up roof sleeping area come equipped with motion-activated lighting, non-slip trim, and under-tread storage. Since this is a prototype, there’s no word yet on pricing or availability.
