Filmmaker Jamie Stuart decided to make good use of his time during a blizzard in Astoria, Queens and “broke out a camera and tripod and captured the beauty of the storm from his window.” Video after the break. Now here’s why it’s Oscar-worthy:
Once he finished editing and scoring his work, he sent the short film, titled Idiot With A Tripod, to Roger Ebert, who writes on his blog why it should be an Academy Award contender in the Live-Action Short category.
