The impetus for the display? Tactus CEO Craig Ciesla said he misses his BlackBerry and wants his physical buttons back. That’s not very exciting to us, but if this tech could, say, be made to create Braille bumps so a blind person could use a touchscreen, why that’d be a future application we can get behind.
