
The Lakhta Center is now Europe’s tallest skyscraper spanning 87-stories and standing 1,516-feet tall. It was designed by British architect Tony Kettle of RMJM and Russia-based architecture firm Gorproject, boasting a sprawling facade consisting of 16,500 curved glass pieces as well as automatic shutters for improved energy efficiency.
