LEGO Icons Stranger Things The Creel House Set
Fans of the Upside Down have waited what seems like an eternity for this moment. Finally, with Stranger Things’ last season ending on December 31, LEGO has stepped in to preserve the dread in brick form. The new LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House, set 11370, captures the creepy core of Hawkins’ most cursed location, transforming a seemingly simple structure into a portal for countless repeats of the show’s darkest events. At 2,593 pieces, this Icons collection demands patience, but the payoff reveals layers of detail that reward every click.

Building begins on the outside, with a gothic shell that stands over your shelf like a spectral presence from 1959. You build bricks into those steep gables and arched windows, and before you know it, the old house where the Creel family met their tragic end is gazing straight back at you.The wooden planks just snap into place, giving you that incredibly dilapidated 1980s impression, complete with faded paneling and overgrown vines climbing up the walls. As each part clicks together, the entire structure begins to expand from a strong foundation into a full manor that is 20 inches wide, 11.5 inches tall, and 7 inches deep, and it just feels more and more genuine as you go. Each layer adds weight to the sculpture, giving it a lifelike quality, almost as if it is watching you.

But here’s the true magic: pull a concealed lever, and the facade collapses, revealing Vecna’s warped Mind Lair at its core. Tendrils of this strange reddish substance start writhing all over the walls, and this massive grandfather clock takes up the most of the space, its hands frozen in time and seeming like they’re in a state of permanent dread. And the split mechanism here is quite cool; you can truly switch between sealed-up mystery and flat-out nightmare. Room after room, the entire structure transforms, disclosing its contents like a long-buried secret.

Inside those seven small rooms, you have this strange mismatch of ordinary life clashing with the otherworldly; it’s quiet and scary, just like in the series. Alice’s bedroom is neat and tidy, with a little vanity and floral wallpaper; it’s a great contrast to the absolute disarray next door, where Henry’s notebook is scattered open, indicating how shattered his mind was. And the upper corridor goes on and on, lined with creaky doors that may be opened to reveal these hidden small rooms inside. Downstairs, you’ll find a small kitchen and living area decorated with vintage furnishings, including a rotary phone on a side table and lace curtains surrounding empty windows…

When you receive updates that indicate how their storylines have unfolded, minifigures truly bring the characters to life. Eleven is ready in her customary pink dress, with a bowl-cut so precise it looks like it was done in a lab, while Will, Mike, Lucas, and Dustin cluster around like the unshakable foursome that they are. Their baggage and bikes are on hand, indicating that they have many more adventures ahead of them. Max holds her Walkman, a fantastic homage to her significant lifeline in season 4, while Steve poses behind the wheel of his gorgeous BMW, keys dangling from the ignition. Meanwhile, Nancy and Robin exchange a determined gaze, notepad at the ready. Jonathan, as the observer, is playing with his camera. Holly, the young Creel daughter, brings a sense of innocence to the mix; her pigtails are done up with ribbons.

Vehicles complete the collection, giving it some real oomph. Steve’s car has sturdy tyres and little dashboard lights, allowing you to conduct late-night stakeouts. The WSQK radio van appears to be from season 5, complete with fold-out antennae and side panels that open to show equipment racks. Will’s bike is propped up against the front porch, basket loaded and ready for any quick trips, giving the house a genuine sense of place in Hawkins’ greater universe. You can arrange some wild chases or stakeouts, and you can go much beyond what the instructions specify.

Easter eggs are hidden around every corner, rewarding you for keeping an eye out for callbacks to all five seasons. Henry’s drawer has a faded Mind Flayer sketch with crude, prophetic lines. Max’s cassette tape is coiled up on her bedside, with the label faded to read “Running Up That Hill,” which adds a nostalgic touch. There are also faint prints on the walls indicating early episode scribbles, as well as a basement shelf containing a reproduction of the original Upside Down set from 2019. These small touches stack up throughout the build, and each one recalls a memory that leaves you wanting more.

The set costs $299.99, and it’s evident that the timing was purposeful. LEGO Insiders receive it on January 1st, 2026, immediately following the finale, while the rest of us receive it a few days later on January 4th. If you’re an early bird, you’ll also receive a bonus: the WSQK Radio Station gift set, which includes a 234-piece van base and Joyce & Hopper figures. That set alone is reason enough to rush out and acquire the main set; it increases your Hawkins layout without costing you anything additional.
