The LEGO Super Mario world is getting three new Expansion Sets that follow the storyline of Luigi’s Mansion. You’ll get to experience new features that are specially designed to inspire creative play, with several fan favorite characters, including King Boo, Polterpup, Bogmire, Toad, Boo and more. Simply use a LEGO Mario or Luigi interactive figure from the Starter Courses to bring these new sets to life, complete with immersive sounds and music. First, there’s the 71397 Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust Expansion Set ($29.95 USD) that lets you suit up with the Poltergust and attach a normal nozzle or the Strobulb accessory. To activate Poltergust, simply press a button to catch the Gold Ghost and collect a coin reward from the machine in the lab. Next, there’s the 71399 Entryway Expansion Set ($39.99) that lets you navigate into the mansion, where you’ll need to find a way to defeat Bogmire. Lastly, the 71401 Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set ($79.99) lets fans partake in a gem-hunting, ghost-battling level with rotating hallways to explore. All three are launching on January 1, 2022 online and at official LEGO stores worldwide.
